Wonderful Munnar Trip with Abel tours And Taxi services

A trip,  we've been thinking about for a long time. This holiday season we made it happen. Our Trip to Munnar was completely organized by Abel tour and travels Cochin. It was a wonderful experience. Before start my Writing I would like to say a big thanks from My heart to Mr. Robin, Managing Director of Abel tours and Taxi services to gave us a beautiful trip.

The snow covered tea gardens, spread far and wide mountains seen just like a beautiful picture made in canvas. Snow falling ways and the soothing cold welcoming us. I have no words to explain the wonderful experience. The name Munnar is believed to mean "three rivers", the three mountain streams, Muthirappuzha, Nallathanni and kundala. The misty hill station is 1600m above from sea level. The misty hilstation has a lot of historic importance. here was the summer resort of Erstwhile British government in south India.

Eravikulam National park

Eravikulam national park is one of the main attraction of Munnar trip. This park is famous in the name of its endangered inhabitants - Nilagiri Tahr. Over an area of 97 Sq.Km. This park is a home of several species of rare butterflies, animals and birds.

Anamudi peak 

Anamudi peak famous for trucking. it is the highest peak in south India located in southern region of Eravikulam national park. A junction of Anamala, Palani hills and Anamala. It is one of the main attraction of munnar visit.

Mattuppeti

Mattuppetti is the one of the most visited place in Munnar trip.It is a beautiful pcnic place especially for families, reglarly attract visitors. The city is 13 km far from Munnar Town. Tourists love to visiting the dam and lake in Mattuppetty , here families can regularly be seen enjoying wonderful afternoon in this area. mattuppetty dam is a storage concrete gravity dam built in 1949 to conserve water for hydro electricity.

Pallivasal falls

Pallivasal falls is one of the most attractive water falls in kerala located at almost 3 km from Chithirapuram in Munnar. It is the venue of the first hydro - electric project in Kerala. Sita Devi Lake is very near to Pallivasal Water falls.

Chinnakanal & Anayirangal dam

Chinnakanal and its water falls are one of the pleasure of Munnar trip. Its very near to Munnar town. water falls here popularly known as power house water falls.Which is a small water fall, typically one of several that fall in stages down a steep rocky slop around 2000m above sea level. it is a spot getting wonderful scenic beauty western ghat ranges.

 Anayirangal is  about 7 Km  from Chinnakanal and 22 Km from Munnar. It is a lush Green carpet of tea plants. Anayirangal dam is sorrounded by tea plantation evergreen forests.
